I searched on Home Advisor and found very good reviews on Melvin. I was in a time crunch and thankfully, he was available to replace the old ceramic tile on a fireplace in a condo I'm getting ready to sell. I had him install marble tile and he truly did an excellent job. Also, his price was reasonable. He got the job done, was very polite, and yes, I would definitely recommend him!

We needed someone last minute to install our kitchen backsplash and fireplace tile. We had a strict deadline and Melvin came quickly to give an estimate and based on his reviews and time of completion we hired him. Him and one of his guys would come, work quietly and politely all while keeping everything clean which was important since we were having a lot of work done around the house. Some other contractors admired his work and even think they got his number. We are extremely picky people and Melvin's work is pretty close to perfection. His prices were very fair for the quality of work. We will definitely be recommending Melvin and his team to all of our family and friends!

Melvin did a awesome job on our fireplace stone and tile work. I also had him do the backsplash in my kitchen. Very detail oriented and finds solutions without compromising quality if a problem arises. He is now my go to tile guy for any future jobs. A easy going guy to work with. His price may be a bit higher than some but its well worth the extra. Thanks Quality Tile & Stone!

I can not say enough good things about Melvin. I used Home Advisor to find a tile cleaner and also wanted to remodel several bathrooms with some high end tile. After seeing how professional and responsible Melvin was re-grouting one of our bathrooms, I immediately had him show me his resume of other recent tile and stone work. I personally have an issue with contractors that are not detail oriented so I scrutinized his photos and then proceeded to have him lay some unique tile in our laundry room. After seeing how good his work was on the floor, I immediately contracted him to lay some very tricky tile on the floor of a bathroom and stone the interior wall floor to ceiling. I was so impressed with his attention to detail and quiet polite professionalism, I had him tear out a complete bathroom and retile the shower, floor and counter top. This room had even trickier glass tile and he truly did an amazing job. Once that was complete, I then had him stone a large interior wall floor to ceiling in our front room. I will be having him redo 2 more bathrooms for me and can honestly say, he is the best, most polite and competent tile professional I have ever worked with. We felt so comfortable with him working at our home that we never questioned once just letting him work here without us home. If you are looking to have some tile re-grouted or have a tile project, you do not have to look any further...Melvin is your guy. His prices were fair for high quality work and I highly recommend him!!!!

Melvin gave me a fair price for the work to be done, his two person crew did a splendid job on the hallway floor.He came later to look over the work to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. He personally completed some minor details that needed to be done to completely finish the job. In fact, he did some work personally on some details that was only indirectly involved with the installing of the tile, that a lot of contractors would have said, it would have been my responsibility to fix the problem. This guy is squared away and knows how to treat his customers. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to my friends and any others that need any kind of tile work done in/on their house or business!
